Love that chocolate but scared of the fat?

Here’s how you can spice up that hot chocolate without adding on the weight. Use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate and look for chips that contain at least 60 percent cocoa. Dark chocolate will give your drink a rich, intense flavour with a lot less added sugar. For those who like a musky, exotic aroma, try out a combination of cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon ground into fine powder.

Ingredients 

1 and a half cups dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup powdered non-fat milk

1/3 cup of cocoa powder

1 cup non-fat milk

Cloves, nutmeg or cinnamon powder as necessary.

Directions:

Combine ingredients and set aside

Heat 1 cup of milk slowly (do not let it boil)

Pour milk into a mug and stir in 3 tablespoons of the hot chocolate mix

Sprinkle of powdered spices on top
